Bengaluru: Congress leaders have submitted a complaint against former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to the party high command for attending CM Yediyurappa’s birthday celebrations held on February 27 at Palace grounds.

As per sources, the leaders have submitted a detailed report about Siddaramiah’s participation in Yediyurappa’s birthday. They have also submitted a video of Siddaramaiah’s speech, newspaper clippings of the programme and other related material with the complaint to New Delhi.

Siddaramaiah speaking at CM’s birthday celebrations had said Yediyurappa rose to become chief minister due to sheer hard work and perseverance as he did not come from any politically influential family.

Few of the Congress leaders also alleged that Siddaramaiah joined hands with Yediyurappa to bring down the erstwhile Congress-JD(S) coalition government.
