Mysuru: Holding the Congress responsible for the Bengaluru riots, BJP leader AH Vishwanath said that the misdoing of the party led people to set fire to the house of Congress MLA Srinivas Murthy.
Speaking to reporters in Mysuru here, he denied BJP’s involvement in the incident and claimed that the violence occurred due to internal differences between Congress and local organization.
Further, he cited the provocative speeches made against CAA and said that the issue is still hot and Congress is doing politics over the same.
“Zameer Ahmed did not visit the victim’s residence instead he went and consoled those who indulged in the arson!,” said Vishwanath adding that during the Padrayavpura incident too Zameer gave hero’s welcome to the rioters.
