Bengaluru: The Legislative Assembly observed exchange of arguments between Congress and JD(S) members on Wednesday over the Shivamogga District Cooperative Central Bank’s Rs 65-crore fake gold loan scam, which came to fore in 2014.
Congress MLA Kimmane Ratnakar demanded the government to take strict action against SDCC bank president Manjunath Gowda and order CBI probe into scam.
JD(S) MLAs urged Speaker K B Koliwad not to allow any further discussion, as the matter was before the court.
