Congress consoles HDK after emotional breakdown

Bengaluru: The congress party consoled CM H D Kumaraswamy after he emotionally broke down on Saturday.

It may be recalled that. on Saturday, the CM broke into tears and said, “People are happy for me after I became the CM of Karnataka, but I am not. I know the pain of being in a coalition government. I became vishakant (Lord Shiva who drank poison) swallowing the pain of this coalition government.” 

In response to HDK’s breakdown, Congress leader and Deputy CM G Parameshwara assured that the CM was happy. “If he’s happy we will all be happy,” he said.

Congress leader Mallikarjuna Kharge said that, “Functioning in a coalition government is not an easy task, he needs to keep courage and face the situations,”
