Congress Defeats BJP Winning 2 Assembly Seats in Karnataka with Huge Margin

Gundlupet/Nanjangud: Congress party candidates won by-elections held in Karnataka for Nanjangud and Gudlupet assembly constituencies after counting of votes concluded on Thursday morning. Geetha Mahadevaprasad won the by-poll held for Gundlupet seat by 11, 254 votes defeating BJP candidate Niranjan whereas former Karnataka Minister, BJP candidate Srinivasa Prasad lost Nanjangud seat to Kalae Keshavamurthy by 18, 169 votes.
