Mangaluru / Udupi: BJP held protests in Mangaluru and Udupi on October 16, alleging widespread corruption within the Congress government in the state.
In Mangaluru, MLA of Mangaluru City South Vedavyas Kamath asserted that crores of rupees were discovered in the homes of Congress members, exposing their alleged involvement in a commission scam. He emphasized that Congress members, who had previously made unverified allegations during BJP’s rule, are now being apprehended with evidence.

Both protests saw notable participants including BJP district president Sudharshan Moodbidire, Mangaluru Mayor Sudheer Shetty Kannur, former member of Legislative Council Monappa Bhandary, former MLA K. Raghupathi Bhat, Mattaru Ratnakar Hegde, and various other leaders and activists.
