Shivamogga: B S Yeddyurappa, welcoming new members to the BJP said that several leaders from the Congress and JD(S) were interested in joining the BJP.
He said that several leaders from other parties displayed interest in joining the party after witnessing the administrative skills of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He added that they would join the BJP a few months before the Assembly elections and not at present due to technical reasons.
Yeddyurappa further said that if the Chief Minister failed to take steps to waive off farm loans, they would hold more protests in the future. He warned that the BJP could not be blamed then if law and order was not maintained.
