Hassan: Union Minister for Statistics and Programme Implementation D.V. Sadananda Gowda told presspersons here on Sunday that the Congress-JD(S) coalition government will not survive for more than three months. He said that the people’s mandate was against the Congress and the JD(S) in the State and assured that if the odds favour the BJP, it would form the government again.
Gowda was in Hassan to participate in a private programme. He dismissed the allegations that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had misused the Raj Bhavan in attempting to instil the BJP government in the State and asserted that neither Modi nor Governor Vajubhai Vala had misused any institution. When asked about the accusations of poaching of Congress and JD(S) legislators against the BJP, he responded by asking the Congress leaders to prove the genuineness of the audio clips released.
