Congress Leader Allegedly Distributes Cash for Vote amid High Voltage Election Campaign in Karnataka

Gundlupet:  According to the media reports, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) Women’s Unit President Laxmi Hebbalkar has allegedly distributed money at Hennur in Gundlupet amid high voltage by-election campaign in Gundlupet and Nanjangud constituencies in Karnataka. According to a video tape released on Thursday, the video allegedly contains the visuals of Laxmi Hebbalkar distributing cash for vote at Hennur. As per the state visual media, the video was taken secretly and later made public on Thursday.

Meanwhile, opposition BJP has urged the state government to hold an investigation on the video tape released as Congress party leader has allegedly distributing money for vote in the by-election scheduled later this month.
