Bengaluru: Former assembly speaker, K B Koliwad, who had said that chief minister, H D Kumaraswamy, had to shed tears in light of certain Congress leaders, and former MLA, K N Rajanna, who had scrutinized the coalition government and H D Kumaraswamy, have been presented with notices by Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, by regarding these statements as anti-party action.
In the notification, the party said that according to statements distributed by a few daily papers, these leaders had acted against the policies and principles of the party and hurt its reputation.
Responding to the data, Koliwad said that he had issued statement against an individual, Siddaramaiah, and not against the party.
Koliwad, without saying the name of Siddaramaiah once more, reprimanded the leader for openly talking about diminishing quantum of ‘Anna Bhagya’ rice to ration card holders and increase in diesel and petroleum prices influenced in the budget, without bringing the point up in the meeting according to the system.
