Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is making a decent attempt to persuade Congress authority to enable him to challenge from Chamundeshwari constituency in Mysuru area in spite of the high command’s hesitance.
Siddaramaiah, who is eager to place is son Dr. Yathindra from Varuna constituency in Mysuru, feels his challenging from the neighboring Chamundeshwari seat will help in effectively propelling the political vocation of his son.
However, the party leaders don’t share Siddaramaiah’s perspectives and they fear that the Opposition, for the most part the BJP and the JD(S), may go into an unsaid comprehension and field a solid competitor in Chamundeshwari constituency with generous Vokkaliga and Lingayat voters. In such a situation, the Chief Minister will be tied down to the constituency and not have the capacity to crusade in different parts of the state.

Political greenhorn Yathindra may require full help of his dad as the BJP is toying with handling party state unit president B S Yeddyurappa’s elder son B S Vijayendra from Varuna.
