Congress party is ‘anti-Hindu’, says MP Brijesh Chowta

Kavoor: There seems to be a belief within the Congress party that no one will oppose them for speaking against the sentiments of the Hindu community in India. This is why Rahul Gandhi has made statements against the Hindu community and the soil of this country, said MP Capt. Brijesh Chowta.
Addressing a protest meeting organized by the Dakshina Kannada BJP Yuva Morcha at Kavoor Junction on Monday, he condemned Rahul Gandhi’s “anti-Hindu statement” made during the Lok Sabha session.
He said that Congress leaders, who have only 99 seats, are speaking as if they have won the entire country. Everyone should be vigilant against their anti-Hindu stance, he added.
MLA Dr. Bharath Shetty said that Rahul Gandhi is behaving irrationally. He accused Rahul Gandhi of trying to “create a rift” among the Hindu community, and it was time to teach him a lesson.
MLA Vedavyas Kamath stated that the country’s majority Hindus would teach Rahul Gandhi, who is engaging in vote-bank politics, a fitting lesson. The time has come for the Hindu community to reject the Congress party, he claimed.
Satish Kumpala, President of the Dakshina Kannada District BJP, presided over the meeting and stated that Rahul Gandhi, with his “anti-Hindu statements” in the Lok Sabha, is trying to appease one religion.
The protest was attended by BJP Yuva Morcha President Rakshit R. Poojary, District President Nandan Mallya, General Secretary Kishore B, Premananda Shetty, Yatish Alva, Vice President of the District Yuva Morcha Bharathraj Krishnapura, Mangalore BJP North Division President Rajesh Kottari, Mangalore City Corporation councilors, Women’s Morcha, and various party unit officials and members.
