Shivamogga: As BJP continued their celebrations, Congress party protested against Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala’s decision to invite B S Yeddyurappa to form the government in Karnataka on May 17.
The protesters chanted slogans condemning Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Karnataka Governor, and said that Governor had acted in haste and his actions were against the Constitution of India. “Narendra Modi has forgotten that he is the Prime Minister of India”, they alleged.
The Congress workers criticised the governor for not allowing the Congress-JDS post poll coalition to form the government and accused the Governor of being a “BJP agent.” They also submitted a memorandum at DC Office regarding the same.
