Congress serves notice on Harsha Moily over embarrassing tweet

Bengaluru: Enraged by the tweet that made the party embarrassed, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) has issued notice to Harsha Moily, son of former union minister, M Veerappa Moily. Harsha Moily is an aspirant for Karkala situate this time.

In his questionable tweet, Harsha had said that there is nexus between PWD pastor and road contractors and they assume a noteworthy part in choosing the ticket allocation. He likewise said that the party should be saved of the impact cash plays in ticket allocation.

KPCC has served notice to Moily looking for clarification on the above tweet. Under guidelines fromparty undertaking in-charge in the state, K C Venugopal, KPCC president, Dr G Parameshwar, issued this notice. Moily may confront disciplinary action in the event that he can’t give a reasonable answer or delicate a statement of regret.

Moily has been requested to outfit his answer within seven days. In the meantime, the party has dithered from issuing notice to M Veerappa Moily, in whose twitter account the said tweet was seen first.
