Bengaluru: A tragic incident occurred at the Bengaluru Press Club when a Congress worker, C.K. Ravichandran, suffered a fatal heart attack during a press conference held to protest the Governor’s decision to grant prosecution permission against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

C.K. Ravichandran, President of the Kurubara Sangha from Kolar district, was addressing the media alongside other Congress leaders when he suddenly felt uneasy and collapsed. The incident took place while he was speaking against the Governor’s decision. He was immediately rushed to Fortis Hospital on Cunningham Road but was declared dead on arrival.

The heart attack happened live, in front of all the media cameras, as Ravichandran held the microphone and spoke to the press. The shocking event unfolded right before the eyes of the journalists present.

Originally from Chintamani in Kolar, C.K. Ravichandran had a close association with both the late former Chief Minister Bangarappa and the current Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He had recently joined the Congress party and was serving as a member of the party’s campaign committee. Ravichandran was a resident of Channasandra in the R.R. Nagar area of Bengaluru.
