Congress workers murder: investigation team arrests another

  • A Local CPI (M) leader arrested

Kasaragod: The investigation team has arrested another accused in connection with the murder of youth Congress activists, Kripesh and Sharathlal. Saji George is the newly arrested accused.

George is a CPI (M) activist and was the driver of the vehicle used by the accused for their movement. The police have already seized the car used by the accused.

Including this arrest, the number of arrested people in connection to the crime has increased to seven. The police are already interrogating the five others who are in custody.

A Local CPI (M) leader arrested

A Pitambaran, who is a local CPI(M) leader had been arrested by the police in connection to the crime. On Wednesday, he was taken to the crime spot and questioned. The police have also seized four weapons and to facilitate the investigation, Pitambaran has been remanded to police custody for a week.
