Mangaluru: Former minister Ramanath Rai said that protests will continue till Mangaluru airport is renamed after Koti Chennayya.
Rai was speaking at the protest rally jointly held by Mulki and Moodabidri Block Congress Committee along with Dakshina Kannada District Yuva Congress on November 18.
The rally was held from Kadri Park to Bajpe’s Kenjar.
Rai said that the airport must be named after Tulunadu’s “Karnika Purushas” Koti and Chennayya.
He alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi rose to power with the help of Adani, now the PM is paying him back by privatising the airport.
