Continue online classes for even sems: DyCM to universities

PTI, May 22, 2021, 7:21 PM IST

Bengaluru: Karnataka Deputy CM Dr Ashwathnarayan CN, on Friday, directed colleges and universities to continue online classes for even semesters of all undergraduate programs.

He added that there is a carryover system in most of the programs. If there are restrictions regarding carryover of the syllabus to higher semesters like in professional courses or engineering, Narayan suggested that Vice-Chancellors and Principals of the institutions consult Karnataka State Higher Education Council.

“The remaining examinations of odd semesters of UG programs can be conducted/scheduled once the pandemic situation comes under control,” the minister added.
