Cook sustains burn injuries in blast at city hotel

Mangaluru: A person is said to have sustained burn injuries following a blast in a hotel located near Rao and Rao Circle here on July 26, Friday morning.
The victim identified as Ashraf works as a cook at the hotel. He has been admitted to the hospital.
The incident took place at around 8.45 am Friday morning when Ashraf was making arrangements for cooking.
The explosion is said to have been caused by a gas leak.
Pandeshwar police personnel rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire.
