Chairman of South Canara District Cooperative Central (SCDCC) Bank Dr. M.N. Rajendra Kumar on Saturday said that as the national banks continue to face turmoil, cooperative banks have stepped up to provide relief to customers.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the “Samruddhi Sahakari Soudha” of the Mundkur Agricultural Service Cooperative Society. The center was inaugurated by Karnataka Minister V. Sunil Kumar.
Rajendra Kumar praised the efforts of cooperative banks in reaching out to customers during these difficult times.
He also emphasized the importance of cooperative banks in supporting the local economy and providing financial assistance to the farmers during difficult times. Kumar praised the cooperative banks for their commitment to serving the community and expressed hope that they would continue to grow and prosper.
The Mundkur Agricultural Service Cooperative Society has been providing various services to farmers and the public for many years, and the new “Samruddhi Sahakari Soudha” is expected to further enhance its services.
The upgraded center will offer various banking services, such as deposits, loans, and other financial services, to the farmers and residents of Mundkur.
