Corporation Bank celebrates its 112th Foundation Day in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: Corporation Bank celebrated its 112th Foundation Day on March 11 at Town Hall, in Mangaluru city. On the occasion, Jai Kumar Garg, Managing Director, CEO of the Bank felicitated Girish Bhardwaj, Padma Shri awardee for his Social Work.
Addressing the gathering, Garg, highlighted the progress of the Bank in the past 111 years. He said, “the bank is committed to serving customers with unwavering commitment.” The Bank has technology based products like Mobile Banking, SMS Banking, UPI, and others tailored to suit the banking needs of the new generation. The Bank is also present on the BHIM app, he said.
On the occasion, members of staff and customers participated in a ‘Walkathon’ from the Bank’s Centenary Library to Head Office. Meritorious children of staff members who have excelled in various fields were also felicitated during the foundation day celebrations.
The 112th foundation day celebrations hosted variety entertainment programme. Aneesh Vidyashankar enticed the audience with violin fusion. Medley dance by Bhargavi Dance Troupe, Udupi folk music by Folk Masti, Mumbai entertained the audience. Executive Directors of the Bank Sunil Mehta and Gopal Murli Bhagat, other dignitaries and customers of the bank were present on the occasion.
