Mangaluru: Mohammed Kabeer Ullal, who reported corruption at the Ullal police station, claimed that police commissioner N Shashi Kumar has been harassing him.

Speaking to the media, Kabeer said, “I had filed a complaint with the Lokayukta against Ullal police station officials, inspector Sandeep and sub-inspector Pradeep, over corrupt practices. I also pointed out the police commissioner’s direct involvement. How can the Lokayukta ask the police commissioner to investigate and submit a report when I have filed a complaint about the police commissioner’s corruption? Is justice going to be served in this case for me?”

He further said, “I have all the corruption evidence to convict the three. Before filing any important cases to the local police station, a complainant must first meet with the police commissioner. Police stations are there to keep people safe and away from corruption.”

“Police commissioner is now harassing me by calling me repeatedly, giving me notices, or sending officers to my house to conduct inquiries. I won’t give up on this case and I will fight until I get justice,” he added.
