Count Down Begins for ‘Parivartan Yatra’ in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: ‘Parivartan Yatra,’ being organised by Karnataka State Unit of BJP as part of its strategy for next state assembly elections scheduled for early 2018 is expected to reach Mangaluru city on November 11 at 05.30 PM. Thousands of BJP workers along with senior party leaders of state unit are expected to take part in the event.
Prior to the event in Mangaluru, a rally followed by a meeting is scheduled to be held at 10.30 AM in BC Road followed by another meeting at Swaraj Maidan of Moodbidri at 03.00 PM as part of the Yatra.
The Yatra is expected to reach Mangaluru Kendra Maidan at 05.30 PM. Karnataka state BJP unit president BS Yeddyurappa (BSY), Union Ministers Anant Kumar Hegde, DV Sadananda Gowda, leader of opposition at legislative council KS Eshwarappa, MPs’ Nalin Kumar Kateel, Shobha Karandlaje and others are expected to take part in the event in Mangaluru.
The police have made elaborate security arrangements ached of Parivartan Yatra in Mangaluru to maintain peace and security in the region. The Yatra is being organised in Karnataka led by BSY to create awareness among the people on current political situation in the state and BJP’s strategies to support common man in the state if it wins next assembly elections.
