Countdown Starts for Reshuffle of Karnataka State Cabinet

Bengaluru: Karnataka state cabinet is all set for a reshuffle after chief minister Siddaramaiah handed over a list of representatives of the people to Congress party high command who could be appointed as cabinet ministers in the next reshuffle.   

The list of congress leaders handed over to the high command on Thursday in New include MLCs HM Revanna, RB Timmapur, Malavalli MLA Narendra Swamy, Tiptur MLA Shadakshari, Yadgir MLA AB Malakareddy. Cabinet reshuffle is expected to be held once the party high command signals green to the list of MLAs and MLCs sent for its approval.

Present Karnataka State Minister for Forest and Environment B Ramanath Rai is very likely to be elevated as home minister. Charge of forest ministry is very likely to be handed over to another leader, Congress party sources said.
