Countdown to Toby: Raj B Shetty, Chaithra Achar share their thoughts at Udayavani

Actor Raj B Shetty is all ready to enthrall cine-goers in the much-anticipated Kannada film ‘Toby’, which is set to release on August 25. The film has already gained attention with its captivating first look and trailer.

The movie’s team recently visited the “Udayavani” office where actor Raj B Shetty and lead actress Chaithra J Achar shared their thoughts about the film.

Raj B Shetty expressed his gratitude to Udayavani for their continuous support and he was happy for the support given to “Toby.” The film is unique and content-driven, he said, adding that he believes its success will pave the way for more newcomers in the Kannada film industry.

Raj B Shetty said he was pleased with the unexpectedly positive response to the trailer and expressed confidence that audiences will enjoy the movie just as much.

Describing “Toby” as a family-oriented film, Raj Shetty highlighted its focus on depicting the emotional bonds within a family.

Lead actress Chaithra Achar also expressed her joy about her role and the experience of working with a talented team.

The film’s tagline, “Maari Maari ..Maarige Daari,” reflects its essence. “Toby” is Raj B Shetty’s largest budget project to date and is produced by Lighter Buddha Films, Agastya Films, and Coffee Gang Studio. Ravi Rai Kalasa is the producer, while Shamil Bangera serves as the executive producer. Written by Raj B Shetty himself, the movie is directed by Basil Alchalakkal.

The stellar cast includes Raj B Shetty, Chaithra J Achar, Samyuktha Horanadu, Gopalkrishna Deshpande, and Raj Deepak Shetty.

The event at Udayavani was attended by Manipal Media Network Limited’s MD & CEO Vinod Kumar, Bangalore Regional Editor B K Ganesh, Bureau Chief M N Gurumurthy, Cinema Marketing Department Head B K Krishnappa, and Cinema Department Head Raviprakash Rai.

As the release date approaches, the excitement continues to build for the eagerly anticipated “Toby,” a movie that promises to captivate audiences with its engaging storyline and heartfelt family themes.
