Country-made bombs tossed at residence of RSS and BJP leaders

Kasargod: A tense situation prevailed in Payyanur, which falls in Kasargod Lok Sabha constituency after country-made bombs were hurled at the residences of BJP and RSS leaders on Monday, May 13 morning.

A bomb was initially hurled at the residence of Panakkil Balakrishnan, a BJP leader from Payyanur Korom and shortly later two bombs were tossed at the residence of RSS activist Kareyil Rajesh from Korom. It is gathered that no one was injured in the explosion.

This is not the first time that Rajesh’s residence has been targeted. Earlier too bombs were tossed at his house and a torching incident was also reported.
