Couple dies in fatal accident near Sampaje

A tragic collision between a lorry and a two-wheeler claimed the lives of a couple near Koyanad, Sampaje.
The deceased have been identified as Chidananda Acharya (48) and his wife Nalini (40). The couple was traveling to Mangaluru to attend a ceremony at a relative’s house when the accident took place.
Chidananda Acharya died on the spot, while Nalini succumbed to her injuries en route to Sullia Hospital. The couple is survived by their 14-year-old son.
Police visited the accident site and registered a case.
