COVID-19: 1669 new positive cases in K’taka; 1672 recoveries

Bengaluru: In the last 24 hours, 1,669 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the State and 22 infected people have died, Karnataka’s Health and Family Welfare Department said on the evening of August 13.

1,672 people have recovered from the virus on the same day. Presently, there are 22,703 active cases registered in the State.

The positivity rate is at 0.98 per cent.

1,69,332 tests were conducted on Friday.

Bengaluru Urban district reported the highest number of cases at 425 followed by Udupi with 115 cases and Hassan with 113 cases.
