COVID-19: 44-year-old man from Bannanje who died of fever tests negative

Udupi: A 44-year-old man from Bannanje, who died has been tested negative for COVID-19.
The deceased had been suffering from cold, cough, and fever over the last three days and his death on Sunday had sparked rumors that he had contracted COVID-19.
Following his death, his throat swab was sent for test and the result is negative.
