COVID-19: BJP MLA Yatnal donates 3-mth salary to CM Relief Fund

Bengaluru: BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal on Thursday said that he will donate his three months salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

His move comes a day after chief minister BS Yediyurappa appealed to people to help the state government by donating money to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for advanced medical support system to fight the spread of COVID-19.

In a letter addressed to CM, Yatnal wrote, “The economy is suffering owing to the lockdown. We need to support government morally as well as financially. For this purpose, I will donate three months salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.”
