Kollur: Veteran Singer Yesudas has been celebrating his birthday every year at the Sri Mookambika shrine in Kollur for the past 48 years, but this year he won’t be visiting the temple to celebrate his 81st birthday due to COVID-19.

He is currently in his residence at Dallas, the USA.

However, this year he will be performing for the Goddess from his home in Dallas which will be broadcast at the temple online.

Student of Yesudas and singer Kanhangad Ramachandran accompanied by Govinda Adiga, a priest at the Kollur temple shall be offering special poojas on behalf of Yesudas and organising the online performance.
