Kollur: Veteran Singer Yesudas has been celebrating his birthday every year at the Sri Mookambika shrine in Kollur for the past 48 years, but this year he won’t be visiting the temple to celebrate his 81st birthday due to COVID-19.
He is currently in his residence at Dallas, the USA.
KJ Yesudas has been a great devotee of Kollur Mookambika Devi. Every year he would visit the goddess’s temple on January 9 and spend the entire day of his birthday on January 10 at the temple offering various poojas and singing songs.

Student of Yesudas and singer Kanhangad Ramachandran accompanied by Govinda Adiga, a priest at the Kollur temple shall be offering special poojas on behalf of Yesudas and organising the online performance.
