COVID 19: DK dist admin releases detailed advisory for public during lockdown

Mangaluru: In wake of rise in Covid-19 cases, Dakshina Kannada district administration has released a detailed advisory regarding guidelines to be followed during the lockdown period.
Following restrictions have been imposed in the district in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Vehicular movement, except those from medical fraternity has been completely banned on the roads in the district from 12.30 pm on Thursday, April 2. Media personnel will be allowed if they have valid pass.
It is said that, all the wholesalers of Central market have been shifted to APMC yard in Baikampady and only retailers are provided permission to visit the premises.
However, wholesalers in Bunder can continue as usual and the items will be sold to only retailers from 1.pm to 7.pm.
People can avail ambulance services for emergency medical needs by dialing 108 or can dial toll free number 1077 to avail emergency medical pass for private vehicles.
