COVID-19: DK reports 89 new cases and 5 deaths

Mangaluru: The tally of positive coronavirus cases in Dakshina Kannada rose to 3,685 with further 89 persons testing positive for the virus on Monday, June 20.

In Dakshina Kannada 57 were discharged from hospitals after recovering from the virus and 5 COVID-19 death were also reported on the same day. Of total positive cases, 2055 cases are active while 1,548 persons are discharged

Out of total 29,072 samples sent for testing and 25,387 are found to be negative, the district health bulletin stated.
