COVID-19 hotspots of India: Kasargod

Kasargod: According to a report, Kasargod has been identified as one of the ten COVID-19 hotspots in the country.

The report explains that more than ten COVID-19 positive cases at a place is identified as a cluster and several clusters in proximity is then called a hotspot.

Ten hotspots have been noted across the country: Two in Delhi (Nizamuddin and Dilshad Garden), Noida, Meerut, Bhilwara, Ahmedabad, Kasargod, Pathanamthitta, Pune and Mumbai.

Kasargod has recorded 82 COVID-19 positive cases till Monday, March 30. Most of these are returnees from Dubai.
