COVID-19: Karnataka Waqf Board president passes away

Bengaluru: Karnataka Waqf Board president Dr. Mohammed Yousuff breathed his last at a private hospital in the city on Friday, August 7.
As per reports, he had tested positive for COVID-19 and admitted to the hospital a few days back. While his health condition was reported to be stable last week, he passed away today.
Condoling his demise Health Minister B Sriramulu wrote,” May his soul find peace. May the Lord grant the power of grieving to all the relatives.”
Expressing grief Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa in a tweet said, “Saddened to know the demise of Mohammed Yusuf was saddened. I pray that God will grant them good deeds and bestow upon them the power to bring pain to their families.”
