COVID-19: Lalbhag Botanical garden closes for public

Bengaluru: Lalbagh Gardens has been closed for public from Saturday, March 21 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The closure came after the request of the state health department keeping in mind the health and safety of the visitors.

The park will not open till further orders from the government, informed sources.

Dr M Jagadeesh, joint director, department of horticulture informed, The park has been closed since Friday midnight and the gates of the park has been locked. As many as 7 to 8 thousdans of people visit Lalbhah and all people will be at high risk, therefore we decided to close the park for visitors.”
