Covid-19 Lockdown: Dental Clinics in DK to resume services from May 18

Manglauru: Dental clinics in Dakshina Kannada District resume their services from Monday, May 18 in adherence to the protocol as prescribed by Dental Council of India.
Patients with symptoms of fever, cough, cold, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of smell and taste sensation must not visit any dental clinic and get themselves checked in the nearest fever clinic, as per the protocols.
Indian Dental Association has urged all dentists to strictly follow the below-listed protocol as prescribed by Dental Council of India while operating their clinics.
- The patients are required to obtain prior appointment even for consultation purposed before visiting the clinic.
- All social distancing norms should be strictly followed inside the clinic.
- Patients should compulsorily wear mask while entering clinics and accompanying persons should be avoided except in cases of young children, elderly patients and medically compromised individuals.
