Bagalkot: Thirteen out of 19 new cases are from Badami in Bagalkot district on Wednesday, May 6.
As per sources, except one with Influenza-Like Illness (ILI), rest 12 people contracted the virus from a patient that earlier tested positive.
Till date 48 COVID-19 positive cases have been confirmed in the district including 13 discharges and one death.
Meanwhile, MLA and former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah directed the officials to be extra cautious and take extra measures to stop the spread of virus.
