COVID-19 positive woman from UK, who went to Andhra after landing in Delhi, found

New Delhi: A passenger who disappeared from Delhi airport after testing positive for coronavirus upon her return from UK on December 21 has been found in Andhra Pradesh’s Rajahmundry early on Thursday morning.
Health officials received the woman and her son at Rajahmundry railway station and shifted her to the district hospital. “The woman is asymptomatic and doing well,” said an official.
As reported  by Business Today, The woman came from the UK, where the new variant of coronavirus strain has been detected. It is unclear whether the Andhra woman was tested positive for older or new strain but officials said they cannot afford to take any risk.
