Covid 19: Three from Chitradurga test positive; K’taka tally rises to 753

Bengaluru: Three more confirmed cases of coronavirus from Chitradurga took the tally of infected persons to 753 in the state on Friday, May 8.

The three who tested positive had a travel history to Gujarat’s Ahmedabad and are currently being treated at the designated hospital in the district.

A total of 48 cases have been reported from last evening to this evening. Till date 753 COVID-19 positive cases have been confirmed. This includes 30 deaths and 376 discharges,” the health department said in its evening media bulletin.
