Covid-19: Udupi reports 92 new cases, Dakshina Kannada 4 new cases

Udupi: Udupi district reported 92 new cases of coronavirus while Dakshina Kannada reported four new cases on Thursday, June 4. While 20 persons were discharged post recovery in Udupi today, Dakshina Kannada district saw 11 discharges
A total of 257 cases, 106 discharges and four deaths have been reported in last 24 hours, the health department said in its bulletin.
Till date 4320 cases have been confirmed in Karnataka, including 1610 discharges and 57 deaths.
Of the new cases reported today, 155 are interstate passengers while one passenger had international travel history.
Districtwise Udupi reported 92 cases, Raichur -88 cases, Mandya and Hassan reported 15 cases each, Davangere -13, Belagavi – 12, Bengaluru – 9, Daksina Kannada -4, Gadag & Chikkaballapura reported two cases each, while Mysuru, Vijaypura, Ballari, Tumkur and Haveri reported one case each.
Out of the four passengers who tested positive in Dakshina Kannada, three are Maharashtra returnees while the other a 28-year-old female had travel history to UAE. The district has reported 135 cases so far, including 57 discharges and seven deaths.
All the 92 cases reported in Udupi are Maharashtra returnees. Till date 564 cases have been confirmed in the district. Of this 82 persons have been discharged and one fatality has been reported.
