COVID-19 update: DK-180, Udupi-190 cases on July 24

Mangaluru/Udupi: Dakshina Kannada district reported 180 new cases and 6 deaths on July 24, while in Udupi district new cases stood at 190.

In Dakshina Kannada, the cumulative total has risen to 4,389 of which 2,527 cases are presently active and undergoing treatment.

239 people were discharged on the same day after recovering from the virus.

With 6 new deaths, the total COVID-19 deaths in the district have reached 89.

In Udupi district, the cumulative total crossed 3,000 mark and stands at 3,036 of which 1,104 cases are presently active.

3 COVID-19 deaths occurred on the same day raising the total to 14.

88 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery.
