COVID effect: Bengaluru International Film Festival postponed

Bengaluru: The 13th edition of the Bengaluru International Film Festival, which was scheduled to be inaugurated on March 24 has been postponed due to increasing COVID cases in the city.

The film festival was scheduled to be inaugurated on March 24 and end on 31. The organizers have only informed that the event will be postponed and not have yet decided on any date.

It may be recalled that Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has unveiled the logo of the 13th edition of Bengaluru International Film Festival on February 20 and all the preparation for the festival was underway.

The Bengaluru International Film Festival is an annual film festival held in Bengaluru, which previews films of all genres including documentaries from around the world.
