Covid patient flees from Wenlock hosp

Mangaluru: A 18-year-old youth who tested positive for coronavirus escaped from Wenlock hospital, where he was undergoing treatment.
The incident occurred at around 4 pm today (Sunday June 5).
The youth identified as Devraj, a resident of Darbe in Puttur was hospitalised on June 1 as he was showing Covid symptoms. His results today revealed that he was positive for infection.
A case has been filed against him at Pandeshwar police station. The police has urged public to inform them police control room(9480802300) or Pandeshwar station (o824 2220530) if they sight the escaped Covid patient.
Devaraj was living with his grandmother in the city, police informed.
