Bengaluru: Karnataka reported 2,496 cases of coronavirus on Tuesday, July 14 taking the tally of those infected in the state to 44,077.
As many as 87 deaths and 1142 discharges were reported in the last 24 hours.
Of the total positive cases so far, 17,390 patients have been discharged and 842 deaths have occurred. Presently 25,839 cases are active in the state and of this 540 persons are admitted in the ICU.
Bengaluru accounted for 1,267 new coronavirus cases followed by Mysuru with 125 cases. Among other districts Kalaburagi reported 121 cases, Dharwad 100 cases, Ballari 99, Koppala 98, Dakshina Kannada 91, Bagalkote 78, Udupi 73, Uttara Kannada & Belagavi 64 cases each, Vijayapura 52 cases.
As per the bulletin, the state capital presently has 15,599 active cases.
In Dakshina Kannada, the tally of positive cases surged to 2,444 with today’s positives. Of this 886 patients have been discharged including 65 today. Prently 1,511 cases are active.
In Udupi, out of the total 1735 positive cases, 1349 have been discharged and 383 cases are active.
