Creativity at its best: Mandya drawing teacher explains ‘Ramayana’ in one sketch

Mandya: A drawing teacher has successfully completed a sketch narrating the complete “Ramayana” epic in one page.
Narasimhachar is the drawing teacher at a government school at Santekasalgere village and a resident of Marilingadoddi village of Kergodu Hobli has accomplished this feat.
The time taken to complete the art on a 16X24 drawing sheet by Narasimhaachar is 12 days. He spent five hours on art each day in the 12-day process.
The art picture covers all the components of the epic as well as the characters. It has now received a lot of appreciation from the people.
He has also sketched Sandalwood actor ‘Varanata’ Dr. Rajkumar in the past. He combined Dr. Rajkumar and his wife Parvathamma Rajkumar in one art. The art has received positive responses from the people.
Narasimhachar completed his diploma course and then entered the teaching profession.
He has been sketching bullock carts and various other forms since his childhood. His father was also an artist.
He has trained his daughter Monica, who is also a drawing teacher at a school in Bengaluru.
Narasimhachar said, “I’m completely satisfied in this field. I’m looking forward to exploring more in the field of drawing”.
