In a weird tale out of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, the wife of a successful businessman ran away with an autorickshaw driver who is apparently 13 years younger than her.
The event, which occurred on October 13 in Indore’s Khajrana neighbourhood, came to light after the husband submitted a police report regarding his wife’s abduction. The woman is also said to have stolen Rs 47 lakh from the house before fleeing with the auto driver.
According to reports, the auto-rickshaw driver would frequently drop the wife off at her home. When she didn’t return home at night on October 13, her husband was notified of her disappearance. The man then discovered that Rs 47 lakh, which was kept in the cupboard, was missing.
An investigation in the case is underway and police are trying to trace the whereabouts of the millionaire’s wife and the auto-rickshaw driver.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the autorickshaw driver is named Imran and 32 years of age. He was traced to Khandwa, Javra, Ujjain, and Ratlam whereafter police raided these locations to gather their details.
Reports also claim that the cops found Rs 33 lakh cash at the home of another man who is said to be Imran’s acquaintance.
