Chikkamagaluru: In a recent development that has stirred the political landscape, BJP leader CT Ravi has made serious allegations against the current government, prompting a heated exchange of words.
Addressing presspersons CT Ravi emphasized that these allegations were not his alone, but were brought forth by the BBMP contractors’ association. The former MLA challenged Deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar, to prove his innocence by taking an oath at Ajjayyah’s Math.
C T Ravi claimed to have received this information directly from the contractor’s association, asserting that the alleged involvement of Shivakumar in corrupt practices was of utmost concern. Initially reported at a 7% involvement rate, these claims have escalated to a shocking 15% after discussions with the stakeholders.
The BJP leader maintained that if the allegations were unfounded, Shivakumar should go to Ajjayyah’s Math and reveal the truth.
Turning his attention to broader political matters, CT Ravi criticized Congress MLAs for allegedly amassing funds during the same period. He posed the question whether politics was being pursued for the greater good or for personal gain, drawing a parallel to Dharmaraya, a figure known for his impartiality and commitment to righteousness.
