Chikkamagaluru: BJP MLC CT Ravi responding to Congress MLA Lakshmi Hebbalkar’s challenge, said that he will visit both Dharmasthala and Savadatti Yellamma Temple after the legal and political matters involving the case are resolved.
Laxmi Hebbalkar, who has accused MLC C T Ravi of making derogatory remarks against her in the Legislative Council, had challenged the BJP leader to come to Dharmasthala and take ‘Pramaana’ (oath) in the presence of the deity, to speak the truth.
Ravi explained that he had already pledged a “harake” (a religious vow) at Yellamma Temple while he was being carried by police and would fulfill it after the case concludes.
“I will reveal the details of my vow once it is completed,” he added.
Regarding the suspension of Khanapur PSI Manjunath, Ravi said he was unaware of the matter. However, he demanded action against the Commissioner, SP, and others allegedly complicit in the case. He emphasized that the complaint he had filed should be officially registered.
