Custom officials seize gold from 2 passengers at MIA

Mangaluru: Gold worth being smuggled by two passengers was seized by the customs officials at Mangaluru International Airport. The officials seized gold with an estimated worth of Rs 43.69 lakh.
Customs officials found 732 grams of gold worth Rs 37,69,800 with a passenger who arrived from Dubai.
Rs 6,00,181 lakh worth of gold was also found on another person concealed in four pieces at the bottom of Nestle dairy cream tin.
